As a by-product of space activities, space debris is not going anywhere. The only way to maintain a long-term sustainable space environment and protect the services vital to the modern world is to minimize the threat of space debris. To do this, we must raise awareness regarding this issue. By garnering public support, we can pressure governments to pass laws that can mitigate further generation of space debris and provide funding to agencies and private sectors to develop debris removal technology.

Google X's goal is to solve some of the world's most difficult and crucial problems. Two subsystems of Google X that help achieve this goal are the Rapid Evaluation Team and a policy of rewarding failures.



When an environment is devoid of empathy, those with more power will perceive themselves as superior, and they will often choose not to empathize because they distance themselves from those they perceive as inferior and unworthy. On the other hand, when a person has had experiences similar to those of others, their ability to empathize will increase as they can put themselves in someone else's shoes.
