// Good Thing Comes to Those Who Wait?
Art Journey was my least favorite page on this entire website. I didn't like looking at it all that much and avoided opening the page altogether after it's up. I disliked it so much so that I considered taking it down until I redesigned the page, but decided to keep it up since I wanted to show my art somewhere on the site. For a long time I didn't have a vision for what exactly I want the page to look like, until I came across CSS/JS carousels! My original idea was to theme the page after a theater, with the carousel gallery talking up the stage. Dramatic lighting and all that. Then I started to actually build the page and I decided to keep things simple and stick to the main color scheme and aesthetic of this website :] I really like how it looks right now — finally :D I did away with dividing my art into "eras" with accompanying descriptions because I just felt it was too corny lol. I cannot emphasize enough how good it feels to finally fix the page after so long, and get it to a state where I'm happy with it!
