// So today I bought more merch

Earlier today (as in 30 minutes ago) I was browsing Twitter and came across this tweet from @plushisheep about their Etsy shop being restocked. Ever since I saw the freebie ribbons they were giving away at TFcon I've been thinking about snatching the tatakawanai!TF one when they put the leftovers on Etsy. And that's exactly what I did. But of course, buying anything online means shipping! Err, the logistics mailing packaging type. I feel like since I'm paying for shipping anyway I might as well buy something else from the shop. (I've been eyeing stuff from this shop for a while haha.) I ended up purchasing a Megatron button & keychain but I was so close to getting an Optimus one too. And here comes my biggest woe of being a shipper: whenever I buy merch of one character I feel inclined to buy merch of the other character as well because they come as a package deal to me. Sucks for my wallet but hey more money for artists XD We love supporting independent artists in this house💸💖

This ship has a chokehold on me rn don't even joke lad /ref. It's both a blessing and a curse because on one hand, these two are arguably the most popular characters in the entire franchise, which means I have a lot of content to enjoy—fanart, official media, merch, etc.. On the other hand, I'm the broke consumer bro😭✌More merch means more stuff for me to buy LMAO. Every artist that sells merch of Megatron, high chance they have Optimus too and vice versa. And you bet my ass is gonna wanna get both because they come as a pair to me. I hate it here. (Lie.) (I know I don't mean it.)

Buying, purchasing, consuming... I am very financially responsible...

I can't remember the last time I was THIS deep into a ship. Deep as in a unhealthy significant amount of time sunk into consuming fan-content and money spent on merch. The last ship I was really invested in was Reed900 I think, but even then it definitely doesn't even come CLOSE to the way that megop infests my brain. Well. That's actually kinda scary I hope my interest in Transformers doesn't die on me. Please don't I'm too deep into this bro it's only been like a year.
