// So it turns out there is a simple strategy to beating morning traffic
My morning routine looks like this: wake up, scroll on my phone, take my sweet time getting ready, rush to make & eat breakfast, and speed walk to the bus station. (Though I'm hoping to eventually ride my longboard to school, but that's gonna take a couple of months to learn haha.) My first class is at 9 am, and there are 4 buses that I could take within the hour prior that would get me there on time.
- Bus #1 is the earliest one
- I usually try to take Bus #2, but there's a good chance that it'll be full, and I wouldn't have time to walk to the previous stop
- Bus #3 might be jam-packed, but if I walk to the previous stop, I can usually get on.
- Bus #4 picks up the "leftover" people who couldn't get on the previous buses LOL; this one gets in a little late, so I might be 5 minutes or so late to class
I love buses, but they are NOT pleasant when it's fully packed like a sardine! And I do not like stressing about missing a bus :( Thankfully, there's a simple solution to my problem...
Just take the earliest bus!
I've been taking bus #1 for 2 days now, and wow it is nice. There's always a seat (love my window seats!) and the AC is nice and cool. I might get half an hour less of sleep, but I think it's worth it. Gonna continue trying this for now.
